Security Public Storage Mural Reveal Ribbon Cutting

Join us as Security Public Storage unveils their tribute murals to Vacaville.



Security Public Storage (SPS) invites the public to a special event dedicating our newest community mural, located on East Monte Vista Ave, just off the Vaca Valley Parkway exit and visible from I-505. The celebration will take place on Wednesday, August 21, 10am to 12pm. Guests will include representatives of many community organizations, the City of Vacaville, local media, and our SPS leadership team.
 
SPS dedicates this vibrant mural to the citizens of Vacaville and surrounding neighborhoods, celebrating our area’s gifts, including the Vacaville Arts Trail, Fiesta Days, Andrews Park, many biotech and pharmaceutical companies, our beautiful sunflower fields, and Vacaville’s history. This is SPS’s 16th community mural and one of our largest to date, with a total of 7 panels covering nearly 4,200 sq ft. We take great pride in honoring and partnering with the cities in which we operate. Family-owned SPS has been the trusted source for secure self storage since 1983, with 52 locations in the Western US and DC Metro area.

The “Celebrating Vacaville” mural was designed and painted by artist Jerry Ragg of Mural Decor. Jerry has worked with SPS since 2018 and has designed and painted most of our murals to date. Jerry said he was delighted to get such a positive response as he worked during the last few weeksm with many people honking, waving and stopping by to comment on his designs and watch his progress.
 
Everyone is invited to attend the “Celebrating Vacaville” mural dedication at SPS Vacaville, 2400 East Monte Vista Avenue on Wednesday, August 21st, 2024.
