Travis Fisher House Tree Auction

Each year, the Logistics Officer Association, host this Annual Tree Auction event to raise money in support of the Travis Fisher House which is one of 97 "homes away from home" built on military bases with medical centers by the late philanthropists Zachary and Elizabeth Fisher. The house provides a comfortable retreat for guests whose family members are in the hospital for a serious illness or injury. Located on the grounds of the David Grant USAF Medical Center, the Travis Fisher House has been providing the comfort and atmosphere of home for over 10,000 families since January 1994. In 2024, the Travis Fisher House welcomed 470 new families through their doors, bringing their total guests to over 9,812. They opened a second house on 1 June 2014 that expanded their capacity, and the house has been full ever since. The Travis Fisher House is operated in part with the help of donations from local businesses and fund-raising events to continue providing accommodations without charging a fee to military and veteran families.
